The vacancies are for Reservoir Engineers and Geologists who wish to be part of PetroRio, which will grow due to the challenges in Campos de Frade, watch the video.

PetroRio released an institutional video today (13) to invite Reservoir Engineers and Reservoir Geologists through its collaborator Thais Borba, specialist in the company's Geologist for projects and a new cycle of prosperity in Campo de Frade, in the Campos Basin. It owns 70% of this asset recently purchased from Chevron, which is expected to continue producing until 2035. Watch the video of the call below and the requirements in the rest of the article.

Reservoir Engineer

Main activities:

  • Monitoring of production;
  • Optimize production together with the operations team;
  • Evaluate well behavior;
  • Training test analysis;
  • Reservoir simulation, including historical adjustment and production forecast;
  • Elaboration of development plans;
  • Estimate reserves, as well as interact with certifiers;
  • Studies for revitalization of mature fields, considering mesh reduction wells and application of EOR techniques;
  • Write reports for ANP, preparation of PAT/PAP and BAR.

Main qualifications:

  • Higher education in Petroleum Engineering;
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience;
  • Knowledge in reservoir simulators, preferably CMG suite;
  • Knowledge in decline curves, uncertainty and risk analysis;
  • Analysis of training tests. Desirable familiarity with Kappa suite;
  • Fluent English.

geologists

Main activities:

  • Geological characterization of oil fields;
  • 3D modeling of reservoirs, including geostatistics and uncertainty analysis;
  • Geomechanics studies;
  • Elaboration of development plans;
  • Support to reservoir engineering in the definition of wells for grid reduction and implementation of EOR techniques;
  • Identification and evaluation of prospects, together with the geophysics team;
  • Support to well engineering in well projects;
  • Geological monitoring during drilling;
  • Preparation of geological forecast tables;
  • Elaboration of reports for ANP;
  • Asset valuation.
  • Mentoring young professionals.

Main qualifications:

  • Higher education in Geology;
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in siliciclastic reservoirs (experience also in carbonates will be differential);
  • Experience in geological modeling software, Paradigm Skua/Gocad suite preferably;
  • Fluent English.
