Rio de Janeiro Registers Slight Increase in Average Fuel Price in the Second Week of June

Significant Variation Between Neighborhoods

Not only has the average price increased, but there was also a considerable variation of 22.2% between the neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro. Castelo topped the ranking of the most expensive neighborhoods, with an average of R$ 6.190 per liter, while Cascadura stood out with the cheapest liter, averaging R$ 5.065.

In the same week, neighborhoods such as Urca and Galeão also showed high prices, with the liter costing an average of R$ 5.790. Among the more economical options were Irajá (R$ 5.090) and Coelho Neto (R$ 5.120).
