With the end of the international mission, the governor of Bahia guarantees a new wind turbine project that promises to generate new jobs and income for the state    

After the end of his international mission to countries such as Germany, Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic, the governor of the state of Bahia, Rui Costa, last Thursday (28th), attended a meeting with Sinoma, a large Chinese company that is world leader in the segments of construction material and glass, in addition to being one of the largest manufacturers of equipment for the production of wind energy in the world. During the meeting, several details were discussed about the implementation of a blade factory for wind turbines in Bahia. The wind blades are the main responsible for the generation of clean and renewable electric energy, from the rotation coming from the winds.

Initial proposal includes wind farm of 35 thousand square meters

According to the governor of Bahia, the primary proposal is the implementation of a unit with around 35 thousand square meters, in addition to the installation of four production lines for blades, in Camaçari, to meet national and international demand.

At first, it is estimated that around 500 jobs will be generated, possibly reaching 1.200, according to the expansion and expansion that will be carried out three years after the beginning of operation of the wind blade factory. Rui Costa participated in a videoconference with company executives at the Chinese headquarters and also at the Brazilian office, in São Paulo.

The governor of Bahia made himself available and offered all the necessary support for the project to be implemented. Rui stated that it is of extreme interest to have the wind turbine installed in Bahia and that there are just a few details left for the project to come to fruition. Rui concluded by saying that the State will give full support for everything to happen as soon as possible.

Partnership between Bahia and China promises to further boost the renewable energy market in Brazil

The wind turbine blade factory in Camaçari, in the metropolitan region of Salvador, will be the first in the field that the company will set up outside of China. And Bahia was chosen because it had all the necessary conditions for the installation of a unit as important as this one, such as adequate land, the logistical structure of roads and also ports. There are already several wind farms in the state of Bahia, something that has generated an increase in jobs and in the movement of the state's economy.  

Other important partnerships between Bahia and foreign countries

Rui Costa also managed to establish some scientific partnerships with a cancer treatment institute and the Technical University of Czechia, with the aim of establishing a connection between health professionals, for an exchange of experiences and training. After 12 days of international mission, the governor of Bahia considered his journey in search of more partnerships for the state to be positive.

According to Rui, the international mission was a very difficult period in which they literally sold the potential of Bahia, with the aim of obtaining new investments.

In addition, the governor concluded by saying that he managed to show that the state of Bahia has the best conditions and the best workers in Brazil to operate this type of enterprise and that the state is fully open to productive initiatives that can generate new jobs and income, improving the quality of life of the Bahian people.
