The opportunities are spread between Sergipe and Rio de Janeiro and are part of the company’s expansion of operations in the maritime sector, mainly on support vessels for offshore activities.

According to the company, the movement responds to the growth of the fleet and the need to keep operational and support services fully functioning, as well as to reinforce the safety, efficiency, and reliability of operations in the offshore environment.

Deckhand (MNC / P5) — Aracaju (SE)

The Deckhand position is aimed at professionals who wish to work directly in the daily operation of the vessels.

The worker integrates the onboard routine, participating in maneuvers, inspection activities, and general maintenance support.

During navigations and dockings, the Deckhand executes orders from the Captain and Chief Mate, operates equipment under supervision, and collaborates to ensure strict compliance with internal safety regulations.

Additionally, they provide support with cleaning, painting, and conservation services, helping to maintain the vessel in optimal operating conditions.

To apply for the job at Baru Offshore, it is necessary to have a MOC CIR, II/4, TBS, and EBCP certificates, as well as up-to-date vaccinations against Yellow Fever and Covid-19.

The Quartermaster assists in the navigation of the vessel, preparing the bridge and monitoring loading and unloading operations.

They are also responsible for checking routes, maps, and systems, as well as operating dynamic positioning equipment for Baru Offshore.

Onshore Job Opening at Baru

Junior IT Analyst — Rio de Janeiro (RJ)

For those working in technology, the company is looking for a Junior IT Analyst responsible for ensuring the stability and security of corporate systems.

In daily activities, the professional manages the helpdesk environment, follows up on technical requests, and monitors physical and cloud servers.

They also participate in network maintenance, equipment verification, information security policy control, and support compliance with the LGPD.

The position requires a degree in Systems Analysis or related fields, knowledge of virtualization, ITIL, databases, hardware maintenance, and network security policies. Intermediate English is a plus.
