The Logigo Lliro, Chinese Electric Car, Arrives in Brazil for R$ 70 Thousand. The Vehicle Features Various Technologies but Will Not Be Able to Travel on Brazilian Streets.

The Chinese market focuses on electric minicars, and now other products have entered the sector, so it is possible to buy a Chinese electric minicars in Brazil for just R$ 70 thousand. This is the Logigo Lliro, a Chinese electric model developed by a Brazilian connectivity company that has made a name for itself in the market as a supplier of multimedia centers for manufacturers installed in Brazil.

Chinese Electric Car Logigo Lliro Appears in the Brazilian Market Without Warning

The company also decided to operate in mobility services with a mini electric car that can be purchased for just R$ 70 thousand or rented in packages starting at approximately R$ 2 thousand. Here, the vehicle is named Logigo Lliro, but in China, it is called T90 and is sold by a local manufacturer called Jinpeng.

The model is being imported to Brazil by the company due to other projects involving the same model, but in another country in Latin America. According to Fábio Lira, leader of strategic partnerships at the Brazilian company, the project for the Chinese electric car emerged almost by chance.

The company received a request from the manufacturer to develop the entertainment system for the Logigo Lliro to be sold in Costa Rica, and that is when it was decided to bring some units to be sold in Brazil.

Vehicle Will Be Used Only in Closed Locations

The first curiosity about the Logigo Lliro is that it will only be sold for use in closed locations such as airports, factories, gated communities, and large companies. This is because the Chinese electric car is very simple and does not have ABS brakes or front airbags, which are mandatory by law in Brazil.

Thus, the company’s goal is to sell the Lliro to serve as a logistics support vehicle in places like airports, factories, gated communities, and large companies. In summary, its main competitors will not be the iCar or Renault Kwid E-Tech, but rather traditional golf carts.

According to Fabio Lira, there are golf carts that cost over R$ 100 thousand in the market. The company offers a real car, safer and enclosed, at an even more competitive price.

Logigo Model Can Reach a Maximum Speed of 42 km/h

The Logigo Lliro measures 3.5 meters in length, 1.54 meters in width, 2.3 meters in wheelbase, and 1.52 meters in height, and also features LED headlights and taillights, alloy wheels, push-button engine start, and various other technologies.

Its motor is 3500 Watts, equivalent to just under 5 horsepower. The vehicle can reach a maximum speed of 42 km/h, while the battery allows for a range of 100 km on a single charge, according to the company.

As it is not designed for use on public roads, the Lliro does not require registration. However, the company states that it is homologating another model from the same manufacturer, which will have the ideal requirements to operate normally on the streets.
