The Tiggo 9 utilizes Chery’s latest platform and promises to be a “tough nut to crack” for competitors. With high-strength steels, the model boasts around 40% greater torsional rigidity compared to its predecessor, the Tiggo 8.

We’re talking about a car that measures 4.82 meters in length, 1.93 meters in width, and 1.69 meters in height. Additionally, the trunk is a “pit” of space, accommodating up to 560 liters of luggage.

The SUV debuts with a 2.0 turbo engine with direct fuel injection, delivering nothing less than 260 horsepower and 40.2 kgfm of torque. And hold on to this: Chery has already announced a second plug-in hybrid engine for December.

The Luxurious Cabin Of The Tiggo, Safety, And Price

The interior of the Tiggo 9 is practically a VIP box. Leather everywhere you touch and a list of features that looks more like a pampering catalog: Sony Premium sound system, three-zone digital climate control, wireless phone charging, and much more.

Equipped with the Max Drive 2 system, the Chery SUV offers all the safety features you can imagine, from lane departure warning to autonomous emergency braking.

In terms of price, Chery is not messing around. The Tiggo 9 is expected to arrive in Brazil with prices ranging from R$ 80,000 to R$ 300,000, positioning itself as a heavyweight competitor, especially in the plug-in hybrid version.
