When we talk about giants in the automotive world, it’s impossible not to highlight Citroën. With its strong market presence, it quickly established itself as a worthy competitor to Volkswagen. For those who are not yet familiar, Citroën, the renowned French automaker, has just announced a car that promises to shake up the automotive industry, namely the Citroën C3 Aircross. A cheap car priced around R$ 60 thousand, available in 5 and 7-seater versions.
New Car From Citroën Promises 5 and 7-Seater Versions With Attractive Price
It turns out that the much-anticipated launch of the Citroën C3 Aircross, a new SUV capable of accommodating up to seven occupants, is one of the highlights of this second half of the year. Produced in Porto Real (RJ), Citroën’s cheap car is ready to compete in two market segments and shares several similarities with the C3.
The goal of this launch from Citroën is ambitious: to take on Volkswagen’s SUV, the T-Cross. To achieve this mission, Citroën’s cheap car will be available in 5 and 7-seater versions. It’s worth noting that the C3 Aircross is set to be launched only in 2024.

The 7-seater variant will provide space for up to 511 liters by folding down the third row.
It’s important to remember that until now, there is nothing official; however, according to market positioning, the average price of Citroën’s cheap car should not deviate from around R$ 60 thousand to R$ 100 thousand for the versions offering seven seats.
While its external appearance remains a surprise among enthusiasts of the new 2024 C3 Aircross, the model features characteristics of both the C5 Aircross and the C4 Cactus from Europe.
Launch of Citroën Delivers 130 Horsepower
Like other vehicles equipped with a 1.0 Turbo Flex T200 engine and CVT transmission simulating seven virtual gears, such as the Fiat Pulse and Fastback, the 1.0 T200 will maintain an output of 125 horsepower with gasoline and 130 horsepower with ethanol.
The torque is 20.4 kgfm for both types of fuel. The SUV is built on the CMP platform of the C3, which is also used by the Peugeot 208.
The model measures 4.32 meters in length, 2.67 meters in wheelbase, and 1.80 meters in width, while the height has not yet been disclosed by Citroën.
The trunk of the 5-seater version has a capacity of 489 liters, and the 7-seater version boasts 511 liters; however, it is expected to be less due to the third row of seats being pushed against the lid. The Citroën launch will also feature four airbags in all its versions, traction and stability controls, ABS brakes with EBD, hill start assist, and other items.
