Versions with 1.0 Firefly Engine Achieve Up to 14.5 Km/L and Reinforce the C3 2026 Proposal to Be One of the Most Fuel-Efficient Hatches in the Country

Even with new versions and more equipment, the main advantage of Citroën C3 2026 remains its low fuel consumption.

According to the Brazilian Vehicle Labeling Program (PBEV), the configurations with the 1.0 Firefly engine achieve 13.2 km/l in the city and 14.5 km/l on the highway with gasoline, also reaching 9.3 km/l and 10.3 km/l with ethanol.

These figures place the compact hatch among the most fuel-efficient models in the category, especially for those looking to drive a lot while spending little.

The entry-level and mid-range versions — Live, Live Pack, and Feel — use this naturally aspirated engine with up to 75 hp and 10.7 kgfm of torque, always with a five-speed manual transmission.

Low Cost and Simple Maintenance

In addition to being economical, the basic versions come with a simple and reliable mechanical setup, which tends to reduce maintenance costs.

The Live, entry-level version, costs R$ 74,990 and comes equipped with air conditioning, tire pressure monitoring, hill-start assist, and 15″ wheels. The Live Pack, priced at R$ 83,990, adds a 10.25″ multimedia center with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and six speakers.

Next, the Feel version enhances the equipment package with a rearview camera, LED DRLs, power mirrors, 15″ alloy wheels, and electric windows in all four doors. All this without losing the efficiency of the 1.0 Firefly engine.

XTR Blends Adventurous Style and Competitive Consumption

The big news in the lineup is the brand-new XTR version, which combines an adventurous appeal with competitive fuel consumption. Due to its mixed-use tires, its averages are slightly lower: 13 km/l in the city and 14.2 km/l on the highway with gasoline, or 9.5 km/l and 10.3 km/l with ethanol.

With a price of R$ 88,990, the XTR features an exclusive look, with pistachio green details, darkened wheels, a premium finish interior, and a 7″ digital instrument panel.

It also offers automatic climate control and digital, chrome pedals, and a steering wheel with special stitching, enhancing the more sophisticated proposal without sacrificing too much efficiency.

At the top of the range is the YOU! version, the only one equipped with the 1.0 turbo engine from the GSE family, with up to 130 hp and 20.4 kgfm of torque, paired with a CVT that simulates seven gears.

Despite the significantly superior performance, the price and fuel consumption are much higher: R$ 103,990, with averages of 11.5 km/l in the city and 12.9 km/l on the highway with gasoline, dropping to 7.9 km/l and 8.8 km/l with ethanol.

This difference shows how higher power comes at a cost in fuel consumption. While Firefly versions prioritize economy and simplicity, the YOU! focuses on comfort, performance, and more sophisticated equipment.

Same Size, More Equipment

Although it hasn’t changed in appearance or dimensions — maintaining a length of 3.98 meters, a width of 1.73 m, and a trunk capacity of 315 liters — the C3 2026 has become better equipped.

The top versions (XTR and YOU!) come with digital air conditioning and a 7″ digital panel, while the 10.25″ multimedia center now appears starting from the Live Pack version.

The seats have also received new upholstery in the more expensive options, reinforcing the upgrade in trim quality.
