Paper Excellence, a Canadian company specializing in pulp production, announced on Wednesday (10) its plans to invest US$ 4 billion in a new pulp mill in Brazil. The founder of Paper Excellence, Jackson Wijaya, announced the company’s plans for the new mill and job creation during a meeting in New York with Brazilian governors. The meeting was attended by governors Cláudio Castro (RJ), Eduardo Leite (RS), Helder Barbalho (PA), Wilson Lima (AM), Renato Casagrande (ES), and Mauro Mendes (MT), in addition to federal deputy Aguinaldo Ribeiro (PP-PB), rapporteur of a working group on tax reform in the Chamber of Deputies.
