Ocyan Sees Business Opportunities in Mature Post-Salt Fields After Federal Government Incentives
The mature post-salt fields off the Brazilian coast have been attracting attention in recent days, as the Federal Government recently launched Promar, a program aimed at revitalization and incentive for production in these assets. The company’s contracts director for Maintenance and Offshore Services, Vinicius Castilho, shared some of the company’s interest in offering solutions for operators of mature post-salt fields in partnership with the Federal Government.

Federal Government and Promar
On December 28 of last year, the Federal Government published in the Official Gazette the resolution of the National Energy Policy Council (CNPE) that creates the Revitalization and Production Incentive Program for Maritime Fields (Promar).
The program created by the Federal Government will focus on the revitalization of offshore mature fields with the goal of extending their lifespan, increasing the recovery factor, ensuring continuity in federal government participation payments, generating jobs, and maintaining the local goods and services industry.
