The New Honda Sahara 300 2026 Debuts in Dealerships in September with Standard, Rally, and Adventure Versions, Retaining the Same Mechanics and Gaining Only New Colors and Graphics. The Model Starts at R$ 30,385 and Comes with Modern Standard Features.

The Honda Sahara 300 2026 is set to arrive at Brazilian dealerships in September, focusing on updated colors and graphics in the Standard, Rally, and Adventure versions.

There are no technical changes compared to the previous line: it continues with the flex single-cylinder engine of 293.5 cm³ with up to 25.2 hp on ethanol and 2.74 kgfm of torque, a six-speed gearbox, front suspension with 245 mm of travel, two-channel ABS, and a USB-C port. The suggested public price starts at R$ 30,385 without freight.

Prices and Arrival at Dealerships

At the launch of the 2026 range, the brand emphasizes its strategy to maintain the mechanics introduced in 2023, when the motorcycle — officially named XRE 300 Sahara — replaced the previous XRE 300.

This year’s operation prioritizes visual identity: the Standard adopts metallic gray, the Rally combines red with blue details in a tricolor scheme, and the Adventure features matte beige with new stickers.

Additionally, there remains a 3-year warranty with no mileage limit.

As for prices, the 2026 line was presented with a price list for the State of São Paulo, without freight: R$ 30,385 for the Standard, R$ 31,053 for the Rally, and R$ 32,108 for the Adventure.

The delivery to stores is expected in September, following the schedule communicated for the country.

Although Honda discloses the Suggested Public Price (PPS), the actual value on the invoice may vary depending on freight and commercial practices of each dealership.

Sahara 300 in the Fipe Table

In the used and semi-new market, the reference is different. According to the Fipe Table consulted for August of this year, the Sahara 300 shows an average of R$ 34,055 for the Standard, R$ 35,356 for the Rally, and R$ 36,616 for the Adventure.

These figures help consumers gauge depreciation and possible negotiation opportunities, although the final composition depends on the region, mileage, and condition.

Structure and Engine

The structural base continues to be anchored in the brand’s off-road family. The semi-double cradle frame, derived from the set used in the CRF 250F, works with long-travel suspensions and spoked wheels21 in the front and 18 in the rear — for mixed use between asphalt and dirt.

In the front, the telescopic fork has 245 mm of travel. In the back, the Pro-Link mono-shock offers 225 mm and pre-load adjustment, contributing to impact absorption and stability on uneven surfaces.

The braking system remains with two-channel ABS, acting on a 256 mm disc in the front and 220 mm in the rear.

This setup prevents wheel locking during braking and enhances control in low-traction situations, especially on wet or unpaved surfaces.

In tire sizes, the motorcycle comes from the factory with 90/90-21M/C 45S in the front and 120/80-18M/C 62S in the rear.

Flex Engine of 293.5 cm³

In the powertrain, the Sahara 300 uses the well-known single-cylinder OHC of 293.5 cm³ with electronic fuel injection PGM-FI and FlexOne system.

With ethanol, the declared maximum power is 25.2 hp at 7,500 rpm and the torque reaches 2.74 kgfm at 5,750 rpm. With gasoline, the figures are 24.8 hp and 2.70 kgfm at the same RPMs.

The bore and stroke measure 77.0 x 63.0 mm, and the six-speed gearbox aims to prioritize elasticity on highways without sacrificing low-rev responsiveness for urban stretches.

Standard Equipment

In terms of equipment, the standard package includes blackout digital panel with gear indicator, full-LED lighting, and USB-C socket positioned for device charging.

There is also the ESS, a system that automatically activates the hazard lights during emergency braking, signaling to vehicles behind.

The Adventure version adds a steel fairing protector, sump guard, and larger windshield, items offered as options on the Standard and Rally.

Weight and Measurements

In dimensions and capacities, the model indicates a dry weight of 147 kg in the Standard and Rally versions, reaching 149 kg in the Adventure.

The seat height at 859 mm from the ground favors control for riders of different heights, while the wheelbase of 1,425 mm balances stability and agility.

The overall dimensions are 2,193 mm in length, 829 mm in width, and 1,270 mm in height, reaching 1,400 mm in the Adventure due to the taller windshield.

The ground clearance is 269 mm, and the 13.8-liter tank contributes to the advertised range of over 380 km, depending on usage conditions and fuel.

Available Colors for 2026

The visual aspect that characterizes the 2026 line gained more contrast between the versions. In the Standard, the metallic gray seeks a discreet proposal.

The Rally adopts red with blue details to reference Honda’s sporty tricolor scheme.

The Adventure takes a chance on matte beige with new graphics, reinforcing the appeal for travels and dirt stretches.

Performance in the Brazilian Market

In commercial history, Honda reports that the Sahara has surpassed 90,000 units sold in Brazil.

In the first half of 2025, according to data from Fenabrave cited by the manufacturer, the model ranked second among trails, behind only the Honda NXR 160 Bros, and showed better performance than the Yamaha Lander 250.

The name Sahara dates back to the 1990s and has been revived as part of the strategy to consolidate a robust identity for the current XRE 300.

Technical Specifications of the Honda XRE 300 Sahara 2026

The XRE 300 Sahara 2026 features a semi-double cradle frame, disc brakes with ABS on both axles, telescopic front suspension of 245 mm, and rear Pro-Link of 225 mm with pre-load adjustment.

It retains electronic fuel injection, flex fuel, six speeds, and 21/18 wheels fitted with tires measuring 90/90-21 in the front and 120/80-18 in the rear.

The maximum speed and fuel consumption have not been disclosed, according to the latest official communication from the line.

For consumers considering a purchase, the extensive service network, extended warranty, and maintenance of a well-recognized set in the market weigh in favor. On the other hand, the decision depends on budget, type of use, and visual preference among the three versions.

Considering the standard package and aesthetic update, which configuration of the Sahara 300 2026 best meets your daily use and weekend travel?
