The construction of the four wind farms Ventos de Santa Diana, Santa Luzia, Santo Adalberto, and São Carlos, located in the cities of Jacobina, Ibitiara, Mirangaba, and Campo Formoso, respectively, will generate 9,280 jobs at peak production in Bahia.

According to Correio, recruitment and selection are conducted by Sine Bahia, an agency that registers, advertises job vacancies, and consolidates hiring, while the outsourced company selects professionals. In the upcoming months, hiring will be focused on the civil construction sector.
There is also land leasing, which is an important supplemental income for families, in addition to the direct and indirect jobs generated. The average cost per wind turbine is R$ 2,000, and the land remains available for the owner to plant, cultivate, and engage in agriculture and livestock activities.
