Of the 20 positions, 16 are for Alpargatas’ headquarters in São Paulo, two for the Madrid office, one for Los Angeles, and one for Hong Kong. To participate in the selection process, interested candidates must apply by October 5th.
Even during the pandemic, Alpargatas achieved a positive result in the second quarter. The trainee selection process comes after the owner of Havaianas reported a net profit of R$ 54.3 million to its shareholders between April and the end of June. This figure represented a 62.7% increase compared to the same period in 2019.

About the Selection Process
The recruitment and selection process consists of six phases and will be conducted entirely online: application, online tests (English, cognitive, and behavioral), group dynamics in a game board format, Alpa Challenge (online challenge with participation from area managers), individual interviews with the People team, and finally, the final interview in a panel with the CEO and directors.
The selected candidates for the positions will start in the second half of January 2021 and undergo a 12-month program, divided into four stages, before joining the areas they identify with the most.
Requirements
- Open to candidates from any bachelor’s degree program who graduated between 2017 and 2020.
- Having advanced English knowledge and, in the case of being a foreigner, possessing a work and residence visa for the country to which they apply are also prerequisites.
- Previous professional experience and knowledge of other languages may be considered advantages during the hiring process.
Benefits
In Brazil, the salary is R$ 7,000. In addition to the traditional benefits offered by companies, Alpargatas employees are entitled to: gympass, day-off on their birthday, short Friday in the summer, home office, informal dress code, and discounts at the brands’ e-commerce.
