Beer and remote work? The world’s largest beverage company, Ambev, has both and is looking for collaborators for its technology hub, Ambev Tech. Although the job openings are for locations in Blumenau (SC), Maringá (PR), Sorocaba, and Campinas (SP), professionals can opt for a 100% remote model. Candidates from all over Brazil can compete for the 100 job openings and work from the comfort of home 100% remote, even those living in these cities can opt for remote work.

Ambev will provide equipment for work and assist with initial costs to set up a home office. A monthly subsidy for internet and electricity expenses will also be offered.

Requirements

The job openings are for software developers, software architects, data engineers, and product owners. Among the main languages used, they are looking for professionals with knowledge of C#, React, Angular, Android, Java, and Python.

According to Ambev, currently, the entire technology team is working remotely, so the start of work for those hired will be directly from home. After the quarantine, everyone can also opt for a hybrid work model, going to the office a few days a week or maintaining the completely remote model.

Eduardo Horai, VP of Technology at Ambev, shares that the team has already expanded to over a thousand collaborators. And now there are more than 100 new positions to join this team.

“At Ambev Tech, we are passionate about two things: technology and beer. We have an amazing team that is leading the digital transformation within Ambev, and we are looking for more people to be part of this process,” he says.
