Logistique Has Been Held in Joinville Since 2018
With more than 120 exhibitors, an expected audience of 12 thousand people at a technical forum that brings together over 30 panels, case studies and lectures with nationally recognized names, this year’s edition is already being pointed out by the public as the best since it has been held in Joinville. Logistique – Multimodal Cargo Transport, Intralogistics and International Trade Fair is viewed by the market as one of the largest and most important events in the logistics sector in Brazil. It takes place at the Expoville promotion center, from August 22 to 24.
“The event allows us to connect with our customers, listen to their needs, identify possible logistics bottlenecks and how the company can act to bring more efficiency to the logistics chain,” highlights A.P. Moller – Maersk’s president for the East Coast of South America, Karin Schöner. She adds that the company has several clients in Santa Catarina, ranging from commodities to automotive industries, a very strong sales force and considers the state an important industrial hub in strong expansion.
Jaime Batista, sales manager at Aliança Navegação e Logística, emphasizes the importance of Logistique for Santa Catarina as well as for giving visibility not only to Aliança’s operations in the region but to the Maersk group as an integrating service agent. Aliança has been operating cabotage in the ports of Santa Catarina for nearly two decades, and southern Brazil is considered an important market for the shipowner, national leader in the coastal shipping segment.
