Elon Musk Reveals Partnership With Construction Company To Develop Innovative Foldable ‘Battery House’, Promising To Transform The Real Estate Market.

The tycoon Elon Musk, known for his disruptive innovations, recently adopted a more minimalist lifestyle by moving into a 37 square meter house. At the same time, he partnered with Boxabl, a U.S. company specializing in sustainable and affordable prefab homes. This move could be a game-changer in the real estate market. Building a house is usually a complex process full of challenges, requiring attention to many details to ensure quality and practicality, as well as considering the well-being of future residents. However, Boxabl has introduced a revolutionary concept with its ‘battery house’, standing out for its sustainable design and potential to transform the future of construction.

Boxabl has launched a different and innovative way to build houses, which could change the real estate market and the way we view residential constructions. We have a good idea of what Elon Musk is capable of in his ventures, and this company, which he has become an ambassador for, with a sustainable battery house costing US$ 10,000 does not disappoint.

Boxabl stands out as a construction company with sustainable houses featuring innovative technologies and affordable prices. This company is part of the Tesla group and may seem recent, but it is not that new.

The company’s previous name was Casita, created by the father-son duo Galeano Tiramani and his father Paolo Tiramani, the current CEO of the brand, originating in 2017. The father-son duo aimed to build sustainable houses at affordable prices and in a quick manner, with the idea of making mass production of these houses feasible, meaning industrializing their production.

Problems Faced By Elon Musk And Boxabl

Elon Musk’s company made several attempts to manufacture this product, but there were some problems and the houses were not as strong and revolutionary. By joining the project, the billionaire helped make several modifications and improvements to the overall project. It was then that Paolo began working on the design of the foldable houses, but one of his main problems was transportation, as these houses were very difficult to transport.

After all, besides being transported in extended truck beds, they needed to be escorted on the roads, which caused a lot of trouble, having several restrictions on highways, including restrictions on movement times.

Boxabl solved this problem by rethinking its project, incorporating more folds into its battery house, reducing the product size by up to three times, making it possible to transport the load on highways without restrictions.

Elon Musk’s Battery House Costs Only US$ 50 Thousand

In 2021, Elon Musk moved into one of these 37 m² houses, which costs only US$ 50,000. The billionaire claimed on his social media that he sold all his houses, except for the house in the Bay Area, which is used for events.

The construction company has a variety of products in the real estate market with various modern bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, well-equipped cabinets, bathroom with shower, large sink, with countertop and backlit mirror.

The bathroom doors are sliding and ensure a very modern design, the living room has a size of 6 m², with wide plank flooring with thermal insulation to protect against heat and cold. The battery house includes both heating and air conditioning systems, so there is no need to worry about the summer heat or the winter cold.
