Gestran, a company from Paraná, created a new technology that has the capability to generate savings on fuel expenses and tires, along with many other benefits. With the rise in fuel prices, some carriers and other companies that use fleets are suffering from the impacts on expenses, and often, to avoid losing profits, they end up increasing freight prices, making products even more expensive for resellers. On average, half of the expenses for the fleet are related to fuel used, and that’s why Gestran Frotas emerged.

The technology from the company in Paraná is a real-time monitoring platform that promises to reduce costs and errors, along with a module for tire control.

The technology was created to automate and simplify daily manual processes, due to the significant needs of fleet operators. According to Paulo Raymundi, CEO of Gestran, the technology capable of reducing expenses on tires and fuel can reduce costs by 20% to 25% for an entire fleet.

Platform Not Only For Carriers

The platform from the company in Paraná is not only suitable for carriers but also for any other sector or company that has a fleet of vehicles, such as retail, industry, public administration, and many others. Among the tools offered by the technology are monitoring fuel and tire expenses, alerting when preventive maintenance will be necessary.

Additionally, when maintenance is alerted, Gestran Frotas also shows the expenses that should occur with the indicated maintenance. The platform allows for searching for the best price at fuel stations across Brazil, filtering by Region, Station, City, and Brand.

Furthermore, the tire control module has the same premise of cost savings for fleets, as tires, like other products, have also suffered from price increases.

According to Raymundi, there is a possibility to perform a simulation on the company’s website using the impact calculator, which is responsible for showing in real time the amount of savings that can be achieved by the company in its fleets.

The CEO of the company from Paraná also emphasizes other benefits of the platform, such as fuel stock management, real-time monitoring of fleet expenses, cost reduction, and error reduction in entries, integration with the internal pump, and also a control of discounts on refuelings.
