The founder of the multinational company Amazon, Jeff Bezos, said in an interview with CNN that he plans to donate a large part of his fortune. The billionaire is the second richest person in the world according to Forbes, and intends to make a total donation of 124 million dollars during his life to boost charity campaigns.

According to the article from Olhar Digital, when businessman Jeff Bezos decided not to sign the Giving Pledge, he was widely criticized by the public. This campaign is an alliance between very wealthy people from all over the world who commit to donating part of their wealth to charity.

The billionaire’s largest donation to date would be the promise made in 2020 to direct 10 billion dollars to the Bezos Earth Fund, according to the New York Times.
