In Tocantins, The Mining Sector Gains Momentum With The Manganese Extraction Project In Goianorte.
This is due to the fact that the manganese mining sector in Tocantins is experiencing constant growth, in partnership with incentive policies from the Government of Tocantins, aimed at increasing job creation and income for other regions that have significant mineral potential in the state.

Now the municipality of Goianorte, located 256 km from the capital of Tocantins, is preparing to receive the manganese extraction project, which has a production prospect of up to 500 thousand tons of manganese per year.
The Project Belongs To Continental Manganese Ore Exportation
The project, which belongs to the company Continental Manganese Ore Exportation, is still in the final approval phase by ANM – National Mining Agency.

More companies are coming to the state, seeking more information about the region’s abundant mineral resource potential. We have all the conditions to stand out on the national scene, which adds opportunities and new technologies, thus generating more jobs and income for both the State and the municipalities involved,” highlights President Giacometto.
