Never before have the resumes of Brazilians and other immigrants been so desired by Canadian companies as they are now, the country is suffering from a labor shortage and to try to ease the situation, the Canadian government has decided to relax, starting this month, the work rules for international students, lifting the hour limits for work allowed for international students enrolled in higher education courses.
Before the measure adopted by the Government, the limit was 20 hours of work per week during class periods and 40 hours during vacations. The statement signed by Canada’s immigration minister, Sean Fraser, says that the measure aims to alleviate the labor shortage faced by the country, which has been exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
This is an entry point for Brazilian students who want to live in Canada, as the student visa issued in Brazil allows work even after the course completion.

Canada admits Brazilians and immigrants to fill nearly one million job vacancies in construction, logistics, healthcare, and more; there is no age limit for applicants!
