The new body option from the American brand was present at Fenatran 2024, an event that took place from November 4 to 8. The event focuses on commercial vehicles and is also a platform for negotiations with fleet operators.
It could be a way to measure interest in the model. Generally, single cab pickups are more geared towards use with equipment or heavy-duty work, but the previous generation of the cheap Ford Ranger did have versions aimed at general use.

It would be sold exclusively by Ford’s commercial division, Ford Pro. Under the hood, the cheap Ford Ranger uses the same 2.0 turbo engine as the XL, XLS, and Black versions. It generates 170 hp and 41.2 kgfm of torque. However, unlike the cited variants, the Single Cab is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission.
A highlight for this version is its 4×4 traction, which is not found in the Ranger Black, for example. There is also a suspension with dampers external to the frame and a resized brake system.
Will The Cheap Ford Ranger With Single Cab Arrive In Brazil?
Focusing on work, the cargo capacity of the new cheap Ranger pickup is 1,876 liters, and the payload is 1,250 kg. The fording capacity is 80 cm. The Ford Single Cab Ranger also allows for a wide range of transformations, according to the brand. This can facilitate day-to-day activities, depending on the work that the truck will perform.

Ford has not officially confirmed the arrival of the new cheap Ford Ranger to the Brazilian pickup market. However, the model is expected to arrive in Brazil next year to become the lowest-priced version of the pickup. The Toyota is priced at R$ 223,490 and R$ 231,290, respectively.
