In Addition to Investments in The Railway Network, The State Has Projects For State Highways
At the meeting, in addition to railway projects, state investments in BR-163, 470, and 280 were also discussed. Two months ago, the Government of the state of São Paulo, with the approval of the Legislative Assembly, allocated R$ 350 million to accelerate construction on these federal highways. The proposal focuses investments on sections deemed a priority by regional leaders, such as sections 1 and 2 of BR-470, which are allocated R$ 200 million.
The signing of the agreement now depends only on Dnit (National Department of Transport Infrastructure), an agency of the Ministry of Infrastructure. The governor decided to wait for the hearing scheduled for August 17 in the Senate Committee on Infrastructure Services to define the next steps.
