The city of Montes Claros was chosen as the location for the factory because it provides tax incentives for setting up industries and because the property already has good infrastructure, speeding up the work and adaptations needed to start production. The region also has qualified labor, as around 700 direct jobs will be generated over the next five years.
The chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Cristália Laboratory, Ricardo Pacheco says that this acquisition is part of Cristália's expansion plan, which works daily to meet the demand of the Brazilian market in the coming years, which has gradually grown.
