Nevada Man Lost Control On Mountain Road, Crashed At High Speed And Was Arrested For Drunk Driving.

A Nevada man in the United States saw his dream of owning a Porsche 911 GT3 RS 2016 turn into a nightmare just a few months after winning the prize. The story drew attention after the luxury vehicle was completely destroyed in an accident on March 28, 2025.

Big Luck And Tragic Destiny

The Porsche was raffled by the clothing company Tuner Cult, which offered the car along with an additional cash prize of 50 thousand dollars.

The winner received the automobile last September. However, the excitement was short-lived.

According to information from the Storey County Police, the vehicle left the road and ended up in a ditch beside the mountain.

According to a statement from local authorities, the accident occurred on Geiger Grade Road, a road known for its dangerous curves.

At the time of the accident, the Porsche was traveling at a speed between 128 km/h and 136 km/h, well above the legal limit of 72 km/h in the area.

Speeding And Risky Maneuver

The investigation indicated that the driver attempted to swerve from another vehicle while driving at high speed. In the attempt, he lost control, crashed into the roadside barrier, and fell into a ravine. Despite the impact, the car remained upright but sustained severe damage.

The Police reiterated in a statement that Geiger Grade is not a racetrack and warned drivers to respect speed limits to ensure safety.

Arrest And Irreversible Damage

The 32-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of a firearm while intoxicated.

He was taken to the Storey County Detention Center. The name released by the authorities matches that of the Tuner Cult raffle winner.

Regarding the vehicle, the damage was extensive. The rear window was broken, the protective structure was exposed, and the engine cover was damaged.

The front and rear parts of the car came off, and all the lights were destroyed. A model valued at around 175 thousand dollars ended up practically total loss.
