Hyundai Kona Electric has more than 80 thousand reais discount and now takes the lead as the cheapest electric SUV on the national market.

The price war between electric and hybrid cars on the market is increasingly fierce. Proof of this is that Hyundai recently announced another price reduction for its range of electrified products, that is, for the Kona and the Ioniq. In this article we will highlight its engine, autonomy, internal space and many other things.

Hyundai Kona Electric is 80 thousand reais cheaper

According to a statement from caoa, after renegotiating the values with the Korean headquarters, the cheap electric car from the automaker Kona dropped from R$219.990 to R$189.990, thus generating a R$30 reduction.

It is worth remembering that the electric Hyundai Kona was already on sale with a R$80 discount compared to the price announced at launch, of R$299.990. This keeps the cheap electric car as the cheapest electric SUV in the country, ahead of the JAC E-JS4.

The front of the vehicle is somewhat controversial, featuring the charging port with a panel that shows the battery level. In the Hyundai Kona logo there is an LED that indicates that the temperature of the components is above normal, so that the consumer is not “caught by surprise”. The most interesting thing is its optical assembly, which is entirely made of LED.

The arrows and DRL work at the top, the headlights are at the bottom, very different from other models. The cheap electric car, which weighs 1.610 kg, has an 8-year battery warranty offered by the manufacturer.

Hyundai's cheap electric car delivers 136 horsepower

The electric Hyundai Kona can deliver up to 136 horsepower, but what is really impressive is its torque of 40,3 kgfm, guaranteeing a 0 to 100 km/h time of 9,9 seconds, however, according to tests carried out, it can reach less . According to Inmetro, cheap electric cars can deliver 252 km of autonomy on just one charge. However, it is worth highlighting that Inmetro makes very rigorous measurements.

The rear of the vehicle has a unique design with brake lights at the top and turn signals at the bottom. In the trunk, 322 L of space is offered, being slightly larger than a Fiat Pulse, but behind a Hyundai creta. If you fold down all the seats, the cheap electric car can deliver up to 1.500 liters.

Inside the cheap electric car there is a minimalist design, with leather seats, with a soft touch finish and good quality plastic. The steering wheel has height and depth adjustment, as well as functions such as adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assistant.

The steering wheel also has butterflies which, in turn, are not used to change gears, but rather to activate the regenerative brake system. Your multimedia center has Android CarPlay, Apple CarPlay and good sound quality, with physical buttons. Its native GPS is one of the highlights, showing where chargers are nearby.

Among the model's other incredible technologies are digital air conditioning, electrically adjustable driver's seat, adaptive speed controller, lane departure alert with steering wheel correction, automatic emergency braking, induction cell phone charger, heated mirrors and folding, head-up display, LED headlights with automatic lighting, rain sensor and digital instrument panel.
