The Caoa Chery Tiggo 5X 2027, the third best-selling car of the brand in 2025, with 13,670 registrations, reached the 17th position in the national ranking in March, with 5,007 units sold.
The model surpassed competitors such as Chevrolet Onix Plus, Volkswagen Saveiro, and Hyundai HB20S, standing out in the compact SUV segment after the launch of the 2027 line in February, which brought visual, mechanical, and cabin improvements.

Caoa Chery Tiggo 5X 2027 with renewed design: front, rear, and trunk
The visual update included a redesigned front grille, modernized rear lights, and reworked bumper, aligning the Tiggo 5X with Caoa Chery’s new identity.
The SUV measures 4.33 m in length, 1.83 m in width, 1.66 m in height, and 2.61 m in wheelbase, maintaining a trunk capacity of 340 liters, ideal for family or urban use.

Modern interior and enhanced safety
Inside, the Tiggo 5X 2027 received two 10.25” screens, integrating a digital dashboard and multimedia center with wireless smartphone connectivity.
The steering wheel and seats gained ergonomic adjustments, while the safety package was expanded to seven airbags and semi-autonomous assistance systems, such as lane alert and automatic braking.
The Pro version adds a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone digital air conditioning, 18” wheels, and a complete ADAS package, including adaptive cruise control, blind spot alert, and pedestrian and cyclist detection.
Updated engine: performance and economy
The 1.5 turbo flex engine maintains 150 hp, but torque increases from 21.4 kgfm to 22.7 kgfm, paired with a CVT that simulates nine gears.
The Tiggo 5X accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in about 10 seconds, with a top speed of 193 km/h.
Fuel consumption, according to Inmetro, is 6.6 km/l in the city and 8 km/l on the highway with ethanol, and 10 km/l and 11.7 km/l with gasoline, ensuring energy efficiency for daily use.

Prices and demand for the Caoa Chery Tiggo 5X 2027: Sport and PCD versions
The manufacturer’s suggested price is R$ 124,990 for the Sport version, with metallic units reaching R$ 126,990. In independent dealerships, the price can exceed R$ 143,900, with a markup of up to 15%.
The model will also have a PCD version for R$ 120,000, with tax exemptions, which is expected to attract significant demand. Armored units are already being sold between R$ 209,900 and R$ 224,000 in specialized stores.
The Tiggo 5X 2027 has established itself as an attractive option for traditional and PCD consumers, combining modern design, technology, and mechanical performance.
