The Port of Imetame has a strategic location and easy connection on the coast of Espírito Santo, which connects with the main producing cities in the country, providing an evolution of the port infrastructure for the national and international market.

The investment is in the order of BRL 1 billion and the forecast for the beginning of the works is already for the second half of this year, 2020, with the prospect of generating 650 direct jobs and another 300 indirect jobs at this stage.

When the Port starts operating at its maximum capacity, within a period of three years, according to Imetame, 640 jobs are expected directly and another 1.000 indirectly.

The unit must serve the most diverse productive sectors, such as support services for the import and export of cargo, as well as the loading and unloading of containers, general cargo, grains and liquid bulk. In addition, it will have a structure suitable for the next generation of ships in Brazil.

With this authorization, Imetame just awaits the signing of the assignment contract with the Federal Heritage Secretariat (SPU) which is already in the final stage of analysis for the effective start of the port's maritime works.

According to companhia, information on job vacancies will be disclosed as soon as the development is closer to the start of construction through Imetame's communication channels and others to be defined.
