Meanwhile, the agreement with Trident Energy covers maintenance, construction, and assembly activities on the PPM-1, PCE-1, P-8, and P-65 platforms, which operate in the Pampo and Enchova fields, in the Campos Basin.
The contract with Trident will last for two years and will require approximately 400 workers for onboard positions, managed by the company’s operations base in Macaé, RJ.
According to Heftos’ Director of Business Relations, Telmo Ghiorzi, the company’s achievement in the “highly competitive” tender with Trident was due to its extensive experience in the Brazilian offshore and broad network of relationships, which he claims qualifies Heftos for future contracts with other oil companies.
“There are significant changes underway in the Brazilian oil and gas industry. The positive changes in the regulatory framework and the entry of private operators, including Trident Energy, are evidence of this,” adds the executive.
Heftos has more than 35 years of experience in Maintenance and Construction and Assembly operations in industrial units of the oil and gas sector. It serves and provides services to various clients in the field, including Petrobras.
