New Teacher Admitted to the Job Opening at IFMG Will Work in the Area of Education/Pedagogy
The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais (IFMG) is conducting a Selection Process aimed at selecting a new teacher to fill a job opening for hiring a substitute teacher to teach in the area of education/pedagogy at IFMG Campus Ouro Branco.
To participate in the selection, it is necessary that the candidate holds a degree in pedagogy. Once hired, the teacher at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais (IFMG) will perform functions assigned in 40-hour work weeks. The monthly salary ranges from R$ 3130.85 to R$ 6,684.19.
Individuals interested in filling the substitute teacher job opening must register electronically from April 27, 2022, to May 10, 2022, through the IFMG website. Additionally, it is important to highlight that candidates applying for the teaching position must pay a fee of R$ 50.00 for registration. This fee must be paid using the Union Payment Slip (GRU) by the deadline of May 9, 2022. However, candidates for the job opening who meet the low-income criteria specified in the announcement may apply for a waiver of the registration fee until April 30, 2022.
Selection of Approved Candidates for the Job Opening
According to the website PCI Concursos, candidates will undergo a submission of titles application that will take place between May 18 and 19, 2022. In addition to the previously mentioned stage, candidates must also participate in the didactic performance test phase, which is scheduled to begin on May 25, 2022, starting at 8:30 AM.
For candidates for the teaching position at IFMG who are in the same conditions for approval to fill the job opening, the tie-breaking criteria will be, in this order, candidate who is 60 years old or older; candidate who obtains the highest score in the Didactic Performance test; candidate who obtains the highest score in the Titles test.

- Have been approved and ranked in the selection process;
- Have Brazilian nationality and in the case of Portuguese nationality, be supported by the statute of equality between Brazilians and Portuguese. If of another nationality, present a passport with permanent visa or with a validity period that allows hiring;
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Be in good standing with electoral obligations (if the candidate is Brazilian);
- Be in good standing with military obligations (if the candidate is male and Brazilian);
- Present a graduation diploma in the required area;
- Have physical and mental fitness to perform the duties of the position.
