The largest can factory in Latin America is being built in the interior of Paraná, and the responsible company has already started hiring professionals for different technical and operational areas.
To attract these companies to the state, the Paraná government offers tax incentives, temporary differentiated tax treatments, and assesses infrastructure, foreign trade, deregulation, and professional training. All to make the state more attractive for new investments and generate more jobs.
The process of granting tax incentives follows a technical evaluation conducted by Invest Paraná, which considers priorities such as the type of investment, economic sector, number of jobs generated, economic, social, and environmental impacts, productive chain densification, and degree of innovation. Once evaluated and approved, the process goes to the treasury analysis, which grants or denies the incentives, along with timeline and grace periods.
Investments for Job Generation
According to the Secretary of the Treasury of Paraná, Renê Garcia Júnior, it is very important to provide mechanisms that can attract companies with investment potential for job generation, an area where Paraná is a reference. “We continue to invest in infrastructure and attract business contributions so that Paraná becomes a major industrial hub, growing in the national scenario and positively impacting society as a whole,” he asserts.
Furthermore, the CEO of Horsch do Brasil, Rodrigo Duck, emphasizes that Paraná is a state that stands out in agribusiness and offers advantages in logistics, structure, supplier networks, in addition to a differentiated tax treatment. This facilitates the decision to establish the factory in the state.
With the new investments, Paraná stands out on the country’s investment map, generating economic and social benefits for the region and for Brazil as a whole. This proves that the tax incentives offered by the state government are fundamental to stimulate the economy and generate jobs and income in the state.
