New Apple Phone Will Deliver Greater Battery Life Compared To Previous Model. New iPhone Set To Hit The Market Equipped With 3561 mAh Battery.

In recent months, various sources have indicated that the next generation of iPhones may present significant improvements in their batteries. According to recently disclosed information, these enhancements in Apple’s new model would be feasible due to a restructuring in the internal arrangement of components. Thus, it is expected that the new iPhone’s battery, possibly the iPhone 16, will abandon the L shape and also have its capacity increased.

Speculations Indicate That The Battery Of The New Apple Phone Will Have A Capacity Of 3561 mAh

If this happens, all models of the new iPhone 16, except for the Plus, should have greater battery life. However, the update in Apple’s new phone may not be very significant, leaving the brand’s devices trailing behind their competitors in the high-end segment in terms of energy autonomy.

The basic model, for example, should jump from 3,349 mAh of the current iPhone 15 to 3,561 mAh in the iPhone 16, which is not much, but it can provide users with a good experience. This, of course, considering the smart energy management technology of the new chips produced by Apple.

The Pro model goes from 3,290 to 3,355 mAh, while the Pro Max jumps from 4,422 mAh to 4,676 mAh in the new iPhone. As mentioned earlier, the only variant of Apple’s new phone that will not receive an upgrade in battery capacity is the Plus model, which may, in fact, have a lower capacity in the next generation, at 4,006 mAh, less than the 4,383 mAh of the iPhone 15 Plus.

Battery Of The New iPhone May Have Longer Lifespan

In addition to the capacity difference, the batteries of the upcoming iPhones may have a longer lifespan. That is what the rumors suggest, stating that the thermal control system of the components in the devices arriving this year will be based on graphene, which is supposedly going to provide more efficient cooling.

The new technology present in the Apple phone would be a more robust response from the brand to the overheating issues faced by the iPhone 15. This is because, even after several system updates released especially to address them, the issues have not been completely resolved.

To this day, many users of the brand’s devices complain that the Apple phone continues to heat up more than normal, even during tasks that do not require much processing. Thus, the problem is really a nuisance for those who shell out high amounts of money to enjoy the benefits and features of the brand’s phones.

iPhone 12 Receives Update That Improves Its Performance

Since the iPhone 12 was launched a few years ago, the new Apple phone came with double the wireless charging power at 15 watts, but with a clear limitation: only Apple’s MagSafe chargers work at maximum power.

The latest iOS update will change that. The most recent version of iOS 17.4 will now allow the iPhone 12 to support a wireless charging standard called Qi2, which in practice means that third-party wireless devices will also charge at 15W power, the maximum capacity.

The brand introduced Qi2 support, with 15-watt power, for the iPhone 13 and 14 with iOS 17.2, and the iPhone 15 has supported the standard from the beginning. It is a technology based on Apple’s MagSafe device, with the company having the backing of being a board member and president of the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC).
