The retailer Novo Mundo is opening over 110 vacancies in Maranhão for young people between 18 and 24 years old for their first job and for people over 50 years old in the “Older Youth” program. Novo Mundo aims to consolidate its operations where it operates and expand to more states in the Midwest, North, and Northeast regions starting in 2022.

Trainings of Novo Mundo for Newly Hired First Job Vacancies in Maranhão
The newly hired employees for first job vacancies undergo training that occurs in three combined formats, which are: online, hybrid, and in-person, that is, first there are classes in EAD mode to establish a digital environment.
The retail store in Maranhão offers training vacancies on its EAD platform through its Corporate University and provides hands-on experience and clarification of operational doubts in person.
It is important to note that first job training occurs only at the time of hiring, but it is conducted continuously. This is to ensure the retailer’s culture of customer service and to provide a better and good experience for its clients, reinforces Teodoro.

First Job Program
The Law 10,748/2003 created the National First Job Incentive Program for Youth – PNPE, which was later amended by Law 10,940/2004 and regulated by Decree 5,199/2004.
PNPE is linked to actions aimed at promoting the insertion of young people into the job market and their schooling, strengthening the participation of society in the process of formulating policies and actions for job and income generation.
By signing an adhesion term to PNPE, any legal entity or individual equivalent can register as an employer that commits to generating new jobs according to PNPE rules and proves compliance with tax collection and contributions due to the Guarantee Fund for Time of Service – FGTS, the National Institute of Social Security – INSS, the Secretary of the Federal Revenue of the Ministry of Finance, and the Federal Active Debt.
Employers who meet the requirements will have access to an economic subsidy in the amount of 6 (six) bimonthly installments of R$ 250.00 (two hundred and fifty reais) for each job generated.
