The app operates similarly to other job sites but with greater accessibility and convenience. Interested individuals can register by creating an account on the app and check the available job openings, upload their resume, highlight their area of expertise, and specify their work availability.
For those hiring, the app offers an exclusive area to post available job openings. Interviews and evaluations are conducted online.
The initiative was conceived by three entities in the sector: Abras (Brazilian Supermarket Association), Abrafarma (Brazilian Association of Pharmacy and Drugstore Chains), and Abrappe (Brazilian Association for Loss Prevention).
The idea behind creating the app was to minimize the impacts caused by the coronavirus crisis, especially job losses. The goal is to help those who need to re-enter the job market.
