Mercedes-Benz Is Hiring Hundreds of Job Openings in Its Truck and Bus Chassis Manufacturing Plant in São Bernardo do Campo (SP)
Mercedes-Benz announced on Thursday (12) the opening of 350 job vacancies at its factory in São Bernardo do Campo (SP), where the company produces bus chassis and trucks. The hirings are planned for this month of May, according to the local metalworkers’ union and the automaker. The duration of the contracts will last until December. According to the executive director of the union, Aroaldo Oliveira da Silva, the entity has been pressing the factory for more labor and discussing the reality of the sectors. There is an anticipation of purchasing and an expansion of the market need for trucks due to changes in environmental legislation in 2023. The union still sees the need for more hires.
