The Electric Motorcycle Launched by Bajaj Entered the Brazilian Market Priced Below R$ 10,000 and With Surprising Range

The new electric motorcycles are revolutionizing the automotive market especially in the markets of Asia and Europe, as the technology of batteries has developed significantly in recent years, providing electric motorcycles with greater and more surprising autonomy, as well as enabling faster charging for the vehicle. With this in mind, the Indian company Bajaj is launching a new electric motorcycle that can travel 107 km on a single charge, priced under 10,000 reais, according to the website Motor1.Uol.

In India, the new electric motorcycle with a giant range has entered both the new motorcycle market and the existing market, with Bajaj being one of the largest manufacturers of electric motorcycles in India. It operates in Brazil with the Dominar line and was one of the first to offer electric motorcycles in India.

The motorcycle in question is the Chetak, which was launched in India in 2020, and since then new companies have introduced models that offer performance and range levels similar to Bajaj’s electric motorcycles. Models such as the TVS iQube, Aether 450X, and Ola S1 Pro already exceed its attributes, and therefore, the company modified its motorcycle for the year 2023.

Electric Motorcycle from India With Surprising Range Updated for 2023

The new electric motorcycle from India with a giant range is now offered in three new colors, so those looking for a unique aesthetic can choose the Matte Coarse Grey and Satin Black colors, each with different objectives.

The Matte Caribbean Blue gives the Indian scooter a more youthful appearance, with blue paint on the panels, mirrors, and fenders, and gray on the alloy wheels. In addition, the electric motorcycle has other improvements such as a two-tone fabric seat, matte finish grab handles, turn signal housings, and black headlight casing.

Turning to the technical side, Bajaj has modernized the Chetak electric scooter by equipping it with a color TFT digital instrument panel. In terms of performance, Bajaj’s electric motorcycle is powered by an electric motor of approximately 5.1 horsepower, with a top speed of 60 km/h.

The giant range electric motorcycle from India also features a 3 kWh battery, providing a range of 107 km on a single charge and a recharge time of about four hours. The Chetak electric motorcycle uses 12-inch alloy wheels, with a suspension comprising a single-arm telescopic front fork.

Finally, the electric motorcycle with surprising range comes with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake connected by a combined braking system (CBS). The price of the new electric motorcycle is 152,000 rupees, which is approximately R$ 9,680.
