ContiConnect 2.0 System Used in the Multinational’s Radial Tires Increases Efficiency, Service Life, and Digital Monitoring by Companies
Continental AG has heavily invested in technology for its tire line and incorporated ex works sensors called ContiConnect 2.0. They allow companies to monitor material quality throughout its lifecycle, indicating the need for replacements or maintenance. This way, the sensor provides greater cost transparency and increases safety in all operations, being essential in port transportation.

Through these sensors, Continental AG tire customers can perform predictive maintenance and continuous monitoring via Bluetooth devices. This makes it easier for managers to monitor the condition of all vehicles in the port fleet in real time. It is expected that this company’s technology will arrive in Brazil in the second half of 2022 and bring greater efficiency to the ports.
