Job Openings: Technology and Remote Work – Home Office
The IT area (Information Technology), particularly programming, is one of the most hiring sectors in Brazil even amid the crisis. By 2024, the projection was for at least 70,000 new job positions per year, a growth of about 10%, according to Brasscom, the association of companies in the sector.
The health and economic crises of 2020 may alter the projections somewhat, but the essential still holds: there will be a shortage of qualified personnel to work with technology in Brazil. The scarcity is more acute among professionals in the so-called “data science,” dedicated to software for analyzing vast amounts of information.
