Similarly, charges reach up to R$3.000 deducted directly from the former employee's pay. Thus, the affected employees are filing a lawsuit against the market leader Petrobras.
Petrobras pension plan
Thus, the Petros Plan of the Petrobras-No Renactuados System (PPSP-NR) is a defined benefit plan sponsored by Petrobras, Petrobras Distribuidora and Petros to supplement the income of participants during retirement, in risk situations, in addition to guarantee a death benefit for its beneficiaries. The benefit consists of a monthly supplementary income to the benefit granted by Social Security (INSS).
Finally, created in the 1970s and initially called the Petros Plan of the Petrobras System (PPSP), it came to be called PPPSP-NR in 2018 due to the splitting of the plan in two. Active participants, retirees and pensioners who did not agree with the renegotiation of the plan's benefit readjustment rules in the years 2006, 2007 and 2012 remained in the PPSP-NR.
