While most automakers have adopted the efficient diesel and a turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine for their seven-seaters, Nissan has defied the trend with its latest Pathfinder, keeping a powerful but relatively thirsty V6.

Price of Nissan’s Large SUVs

The Pathfinder starts at around US $ 59,000 for the base ST model, while the new top-end Ti-L model we tested starts at around US $ 87,000. This is more than what major competitors like Toyota, Mazda, and Hyundai charge. Unlike the cheaper models, the Ti-L features a fully digital cockpit as well as a head-up display. How Large SUVs React to Comfort

The new Pathfinder is larger and wider than its predecessor among large SUVs, meaning more space for shoulders, knees, and feet in the second and third rows.
