Fering Pioneer 4×4 Is A Super Powerful Hybrid Jeep Equipped With Two Electric Motors Of 217 Hp Each And A Biodiesel Engine That Powers A Generator To Recharge The Battery
If you are someone who enjoys adventures and driving Jeeps, you will be amazed to see the brand new Fering Pioneer 4×4, a super powerful hybrid Jeep. And it’s not just the design that makes it capable of being used in the most extreme configurations you can imagine.
Fering is an archaic British word meaning “companion” and was chosen as the name of the organization. The new company has twenty people working for it, including engineers, designers, and even logistics specialists focused on shipments, and they have been working on the super powerful hybrid Jeep project for the last 18 months.
The team decided to create the hybrid vehicle upon realizing that to attract consumers, they needed to develop a product that would be more useful for them, given that the supercar market, which they usually design, is already saturated, but the market for super-powered Jeeps is not.

Suzuki Fronx emerges as the “compact coupe SUV” that Brazil doesn’t have: priced around R$ 37,000 in a tax-free conversion, the model has a hybrid version, 1.0 turbo engine, bold design, and the price of a popular car in India.

Not every car with a battery is truly electric; some hybrids never run solely on electric power, and since 2025, ABVE stopped counting mild hybrids as electrified, and these differences change everything when buying.

Peugeot 408 Griffe 2015 combines a turbo engine, 0 to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds, a 526-liter trunk larger than many compact SUVs, leather, multimedia, cruise control, and a sunroof, but it remains off the radar among fully equipped used cars.

Toyota Hilux Champ emerges as the “mini-work Hilux” that Brazil doesn’t have: for around R$ 81,7 thousand in conversion without taxes, the pickup has a modular chassis, single cab, 2 seats, 2.4 diesel engine, and a popular car price to become a tool for construction, cargo, and small business in Thailand.
The expected annual demand for the super off-road vehicle is between 150 and 200 units, and the price range starts at £150,000, which is about R$ 1,090,500, excluding taxes. This number does not take into account custom versions or those specifically requested by consumers.
The super powerful hybrid Jeep from Fering features a lightweight chassis made of strong aluminum and is constructed with four tubes with bonded panels that enhance the chassis’s rigidity. Additionally, there is a specialized electric motor connected to each axle.
Each electric motor is capable of providing 217 horsepower and 37.72 kgfm of torque. Furthermore, there is a three-cylinder biodiesel engine that was initially designed for use in the Smart ForTwo. However, in the Pioneer 4×4, this engine serves no other purpose than to act as a generator to charge the 20 kWh battery.
Fering Hybrid Jeep Features Batteries Composed Of Lithium Titanate Oxide Cells, Which Are Highly Resistant To Withstand Extreme Conditions

It should be no surprise that common batteries are not the best option for the Jeep in such adverse circumstances as described. Therefore, its battery is composed of lithium titanate oxide cells, capable of surviving the most unusual conditions.
Because of the electric motors, the super powerful hybrid Jeep has a total torque of 61.18 kgfm, which is sent immediately to the wheels. Additionally, the chassis is made of aluminum, which contributes to the vehicle’s relatively low weight of 1,500 kilograms.
The battery alone has a range of 80 kilometers, but the Jeep can travel up to 7,000 kilometers before needing to refuel, thanks to the combustion engine that serves as a power generator. By the way, Fering had previously announced that it would make alternative fuel generators, such as those powered by alcohol, available to comply with regulations in all countries.
The Fering Pioneer 4×4 super powerful hybrid Jeep can reach a maximum speed of 128 kilometers per hour under ideal conditions and features 22.5-inch wheels.
Hybrid Cars Are Vehicles That Combine An Internal Combustion Engine With An Electric Motor
A hybrid car, like this model of super powerful Jeep, is designed to use the electric energy stored in its batteries to assist in driving, thus reducing reliance on the internal combustion engine and the emission of polluting gases.
When the hybrid car is in motion, the electric motor is activated first, and the combustion engine is activated only when necessary, such as at higher speeds or during climbs. In the case of the Fering Pioneer 4×4, as previously mentioned, it is only activated to recharge the battery.
This makes the hybrid car more fuel-efficient and less polluting than conventional combustion vehicles. Additionally, hybrid cars can also be recharged via a wall outlet, making them an even more attractive option for those seeking a more sustainable transportation alternative.
