Board Change Accompanies Transition In The Company’s Leadership
Meanwhile, the appointment comes after a recent change in the company’s executive leadership.
Previously, Rodrigo Cuesta, who held the position of financial and new business director at Norsul, took on the role of CEO of the company.
Thus, the reorganization of the executive structure was conducted as part of a natural corporate succession process.
Consequently, the move seeks to ensure continuity of the organizational strategy, institutional stability, and strengthening of corporate governance.
According to Rodrigo Cuesta, CEO of Norsul, the arrival of the new executive expands the company’s strategic capacity.
“We are continuing with a solid executive structure built with a focus on financial discipline, governance, and long-term value creation. The arrival of André strengthens this agenda and enhances our execution capacity,” Cuesta stated.
Financial Strategy Aligned With The Company’s Growth
For his part, André Gonçalves highlighted the importance of joining an organization with more than six decades of experience in the navigation sector.
According to the executive, the priority will be to maintain the financial strategy aligned with the operation and value generation of the company.
“Becoming part of an organization with over 60 years of history, built with discipline and excellence in services, is a source of pride and responsibility,” Gonçalves stated.
Moreover, the new financial director emphasized that the focus will be on efficient capital allocation and strengthening the company’s financial strategy.
Thus, the goal will be to ensure that financial decisions align with the operation and sustainable growth of the organization.
Commitment To Governance And Executive Leadership
Finally, with the appointment announced in 2026, the company reinforces its commitment to structured governance, planned succession, and continuous strengthening of executive leadership.
Therefore, the administrative reorganization reinforces Norsul’s corporate strategy.
At the same time, it consolidates an executive structure aimed at financial discipline, organizational stability, and sustainable growth in the Brazilian navigation sector.
