The New Honda Biz 2025 Was Announced with an Initial Price of Under R$ 13 Thousand. The Model from the Japanese Brand Hits the Market with New Differentiators in Design, Engine, and Braking System, Promising to Meet the Expectations of Consumers Seeking a Practical and Economical Motorcycle.
The Honda Biz 125 2025 was officially launched by the Japanese brand this Friday (23), bringing updates that promise to further consolidate its position as one of the best-selling motorcycles in Brazil. The model, which is already the second most popular in the country, now features a revised engine, significant design changes, and an important update to the braking system, ensuring more safety and efficiency.
The 2025 line no longer offers the 110 version, focusing exclusively on the two new 125cc options, reinforcing Honda’s commitment to offering quality and innovation in the urban motorcycle segment.
Difference in the New Engine of the New Honda Biz 2025
The starting price of the Biz 125 ES 2025 is R$ 12 thousand, while the top-of-the-line EX costs R$ 14,970. This means that the ES is the replacement for the old 110, which was sold for R$ 11,670, thus an increase of R$ 330. The prices are Suggested Public Price (PPS) by the manufacturer, not including freight. In the case of the Biz 125 EX, there was an increase of R$ 360 compared to the Biz 125 2024.

The engine of the new Honda Biz 2025 is not the same as the previous version, although it maintains similar configurations, such as being OHC type with air cooling, its base is new. It is slightly smaller, going from 124.9 cc to 123.9 cc. In fact, the base of this engine is the same as we see in the Pop 110 2025.

To adapt to the new phase of Promot 5, which begins in 2025, the company could not reuse the old engine. The model also gained a bit more power with 9.53 horsepower at 7,500 rpm – before, it was 9.2 horsepower. Conversely, the torque had a slight reduction and now delivers 1.03 kgfm, while the Biz 1250 delivered 1.04 kgfm.
New Honda Biz Is Economical and Fast
The data applies to both the Flex engine of the Biz EX and the gasoline-only version of the Biz ES. According to Honda, the top speed of the Biz 125 ES is 95.8 km/h, while the Biz 125 EX reaches 95.6 km/h (ethanol) and 97.3 km/h (gasoline). The average urban fuel consumption of the model is 62.8 km/l with a range of 314 km.
For gear shifts, the motorcycle is equipped with a 4-speed semi-automatic transmission, without a clutch lever. This device is of the rotary type; thus, upon reaching the 4th gear, it is possible to shift directly to neutral, but only with the motorcycle at a standstill.
According to the company, there were no changes in the secondary transmission or in the gearing, however, the new Honda Biz 2025 received a new chain: a 420 instead of a 428, aimed at losing less energy to friction.
New Honda Motorcycle Does Not Have a Brake Pedal
The new Honda Biz 2025 does not have a brake pedal, as the item has been replaced by a lever on the left side of the handlebar, now responsible for rear braking. The company’s idea was to make the model more similar to scooters, which typically have brakes like this.
The system continues with CBS (combined brakes), which distributes braking between the rear and front axles. For the Biz 125 ES, Honda kept the motorcycle only with drum brakes. At the front with 130 mm and at the rear also with 130 mm (20 mm more than the old Biz).
In structural terms, the company also made changes to the chassis. The monocoque steel frame now features a square-section tube. The goal of this change was to enhance resistance and structural rigidity, according to the company.
