The Unified National Competition (CNU) is about to offer 900 positions for the position of labor fiscal auditor (AFT). In addition to being a high-prestige opportunity, the initial salary for the position is one of the main attractions.
According to the Federal Government, the initial salary for the positions of labor fiscal auditor will be R$22,921.71. However, this is just the base, as the server will be entitled to various benefits that increase their gross salary.
The efficiency and productivity bonus is one of these benefits. It is not granted immediately and is paid after the first year of effective service. In the first 12 months, the auditor does not receive the bonus, but after that, they begin to receive it, gradually increasing. After 36 months, the bonus reaches the maximum amount of R$3,000.

In addition, the fiscal auditor may receive the frontier allowance, which amounts to R$91 per working day in frontier areas. If they work 20 days in these locations, the monthly amount will be R$1,820.
Deficit in the Auditor Career Offered in the New Job Competition
Despite the 900 new positions being offered in the next competition, the AFT career will continue to present a significant deficit of servers. Currently, there are 1,605 vacant positions in the career. Even with all positions filled in the next announcement, a deficit of approximately 21% will still persist.
Furthermore, the demand for auditors may increase, as about 380 servers will be eligible for retirement in the next four years. This could result in the formation of a reserve list and in calls for approved candidates beyond the immediate vacancies throughout the validity period of the competition.
Choice of the Organizing Committee for the Examination
The choice of the organizing committee for the CNU is an important step in the process. The main committees in the country have already been approached, and proposals are expected to be received by the end of October. The CNU encompasses a variety of public positions in different agencies, including IBGE, Funai, Incra, Mapa, and many others.
The competition tests will be conducted in 180 cities throughout the country, with the job announcement expected in December and the tests scheduled for March 2024. The final result of the CNU is scheduled for May 2024, with training courses for specific careers planned until July 2024.
