SBM Offshore is a multinational operator of FPSO oil platforms (floating storage and transfer unit). It holds contracts in the Campos and Santos basins for periods of up to 20 years. Generally, the most requested professionals are Technicians and Engineers from the industrial areas to perform offshore work in order to keep the equipment operational, avoiding interruption of production.

There is also the team that takes care of the unit's nautical activities, better known as seafarers, who need special training and authorization from the Brazilian Navy (in addition to other countries, each with its own regulations) to carry out their duties on board. We cannot forget the hotel staff (catering), which takes care of cleaning and feeding the crew.
