Viih Tube, former BBB contestant and millionaire, lives in a mansion worth R$ 8.5 million with a heated artificial lake, two cinemas, a complete spa, and a giant playroom of 120 m² for the couple’s children.
It was also confirmed that this program has been studied by the company for implementation in the states of Rio de Janeiro, Goiás, and Ceará, but without a release date yet.
With the objective of promoting environmental preservation and consistent consumption, with approximately R$ 20 million in discounts released by the program in the state, this initiative also seeks to facilitate social projects aimed at professional qualification, income generation, environmental issues, and human rights.
At the time of purchase, customers will be able to choose an institution to help among those available, so the chosen product will allocate 5% of the amount paid to the institution. It is estimated that these institutions will receive around R$ 2 million in donations.
Therefore, by participating in the program, the customer will pay 45% of the product price to the store and 5% to the chosen social project. For example, if the refrigerator costs R$ 1,000.00 (one thousand), the customer will pay half of that amount, being R$ 450.00 to the retailer and R$ 50.00 for donation, meaning half of the product price and still helping a social cause.
When making the purchase and choosing the institution, a membership contract must be signed where the customer agrees to the regular supply of energy and allows a technical visit (if selected) from a representative to measure the energy consumption of the new device acquired.
The old device will be collected for recycling on the day the new one is delivered, at the customer’s residence for total convenience. With the purchase, the consumer becomes part of a segment of society that uses electricity efficiently, as all equipment is guaranteed to have low electricity consumption provided by the National Energy Conservation Program – Procel.
Started in 2009, it has since exchanged more than 76,000 appliances and donated over 9.4 million to projects in Goiás, Ceará, and Rio de Janeiro.
