Petrobras Calls Today (12/17) for 757 Higher Education Positions and Offers Initial Minimum Salary of R$ 11,716.82

There Are Openings at Petrobras for Engineers and Analysts, Among Other Careers. All Opportunities Are for Junior-Level Professionals, Without Experience in the Role, Who Are Looking for Their First Job

Petrobras opened on Friday (12/17), at 10 a.m., the applications for a public competition that will select 757 professionals for higher-level positions, in addition to creating a reserve list. Applications will remain open until January 5, 2022. See below how to apply.

This Is Petrobras’ First Selective Process in Over 3 Years

“The holding of this competition is aligned with the constant evaluations we make of our personnel, considering our business strategies. Additionally, it meets Petrobras’s need to seek new talent, especially for careers in data science, systems analysis, and engineering. Petrobras wants to refresh its workforce by attracting dynamic professionals, regardless of the intended career, with a focus on technology and innovation, who want to participate in the challenges on the company’s horizon for the coming years,” emphasizes Juliano Loureiro, Executive Manager of Human Resources at Petrobras.

There will be a reserve of 8% of the positions for people with disabilities and 20% for black people (blacks and browns), as established by legislation.

The organizing institution for the public selective process will be the Brazilian Center for Research in Evaluation and Selection and Promotion of Events (Cebraspe). The selective process will be valid for twelve months, which may be extended for an equal period once, at Petrobras’s discretion.

The openings are for professionals with backgrounds in Data Science, Systems Analysis (software engineering, infrastructure, and business processes), Environmental Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Equipment Engineering (electrical, electronic, inspection, mechanical, terminals, and pipelines), Processing Engineering, Civil Engineering, Process Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety Engineering, Naval Engineering, Trade and Supply Analysis, Maritime Transport Analysis, Geophysics (Physics, Geology), Geology, Economics, and Administration. The selected candidates may work in any area or unit, depending on Petrobras’s needs. 

Requirements: all positions are for junior-level professionals for whom no prior experience verification is required.

Benefits: Petrobras offers complementary pension (optional), health insurance (medical, hospital, dental, psychological, and pharmacy benefits), in addition to educational benefits for dependents, among others. The minimum initial salary is R$ 11,716.82.

Application: The application fee is R$ 79.83 (seventy-nine reais and eighty-three cents).
