Polestar, a brand of electric vehicles that belongs to Volvo, presented a new variant of electric motorcycle with a battery of up to 31 Ah and 1,5 kWh
A Polestar, a subdivision of electric vehicles owned by the automaker Volvo, presented a new variant of Electric motorcycle. CAKE Makka is a new entry into the low-capacity, low-consumption electric vehicle market. These vehicles are suitable for urban travel and are quite practical.
The electric motorcycle that Polestar and Cake collaborated to produce is the second product of the relationship between the two companies.
The electric motor that comes standard on Volvo's Polestar electric motorcycle is powered by a battery with a capacity of up to 31 Ah and 1,5 kWh. Due to its construction, the vehicle is capable of reaching 45 kilometers per hour and has a range of up to 55 kilometers.

CAKE Makka has a relatively simple design in terms of bodywork. As some of its components are accessible, it is easier to see what needs to be maintained and inspect the objects themselves, making maintenance easier.
Both front and rear shock absorbers are included on the model, as well as on larger motorcycles of the same or similar type. The rear shock absorber is located directly under the seat.
The Volvo electric motorcycle's indicator lights are LED and the footrests are spacious and seem to be able to accommodate the user's feet quite comfortably. As the battery is situated in the center of the bike's bodywork, the lights can be found on either side of the frame.
Electric motorcycle launched by Polestar, belonging to Volvo, has a regenerative braking system, which recharges the battery when the brakes are applied
Braking systems must also have a built-in regeneration mechanism, as this is a crucial additional component. When they are activated, the stored kinetic energy is transformed into electrical energy, which is again supplied to the battery, increasing the range of the Volvo Polestar electric motorcycle.
The electrification of transportation is causing a stir in the market, and other companies are getting in on the act as well. In addition to the electric motorcycle produced by Polestar, belonging to Volvo, Honda informed that it will significantly increase the production of electric bikes.
The manufacturer plans to launch ten models by the year 2025 and has set a goal of being carbon neutral by the year 2050.
Polestar's CAKE Makka electric motorcycle will initially be launched in the European market at a price of 5.300 Euros, which is equivalent to R$ 29 in direct conversion, considered expensive for a vehicle of this size. The company did not provide information on whether the vehicle will be sold in Brazil.
