Daily oil production related to contracts reached 56 barrels in April, according to the PPSA Monthly Bulletin, which manages the contracts.
According to information released by PPSA, last April, total oil production (consortia and Union) from sharing contracts reached 56 thousand barrels per day (bpd). The data above correspond to the Mero Development Area (Libra contract), Entorno de Sapinhoá and Sudoeste de Tartaruga Verde, which belong to three of the 17 contracts that are currently produced under this regime.
The Union's average daily share in the three contracts referring to the 56 thousand barrels of oil produced daily was 10,1 thousand bpd, with 5,4 thousand bpd in the Mero Development Area; 4,7 thousand bpd in Entorno de Sapinhoá; and 27 bpd in Southwest of Tartaruga Verde.

The numbers report a growth of 31,1 percent compared to April last year. Where the Union's share reached 7,7 thousand bpd in the three areas.
The information is part of the Monthly Bulletin of Production Sharing Contracts released by Pré-Sal Petróleo (PPSA), which manages the contracts.
The production of oil production sharing will be released monthly, based on data from the National Petroleum Agency (ANP) and calculations of surplus production in oil for the Union carried out by the Superintendence of Exploration and Production of Pré-Sal Petróleo.
Mero Development Area (Libra contract), Entorno de Sapinhoá and Sudoeste de Tartaruga Verde operate with four FPSOs and 18 wells.
In April of this year, of the three contracts, the oil producer was in the Mero Development Area, which produced 36 bpd (consortium and Union) of the 56 bpd, followed by Sudoeste de Tartaruga Verde with 12 bpd and Entorno de Sapinhoá with 8 bpd.
Referring to the same period above, only Entorno de Sapinhoá and Sudoeste de Tartaruga Verde produce with commercial use of natural gas, a total of 270 thousand m³/day.
The natural gas produced in Mero is currently not commercially usable.
