Volkswagen Polo Remains the Main Competitor in the General Ranking
In the same survey on January 26, the Volkswagen Polo occupied second place in the daily ranking, with 319 units registered.
In the accumulated year until that date, the hatch recorded 4,208 units, remaining the best-selling passenger car at the beginning of 2026.
In segment analyses, the Strada appears classified as a light commercial vehicle, while the Polo is part of the automobile category.
In the overall ranking, however, both are counted together, placing the two models in direct competition for the top positions when the criterion is total registration volume.
Compact Hatchbacks Compete for Positions with Tera and Argo
The Volkswagen Tera appeared in third position in the daily ranking on January 26, with 274 units registered.
Just behind, the Fiat Argo took fourth place, with 239 registrations on the same day.
Looking at the accumulated year until that date, the two models also appear close.
The Argo totaled 3,478 units, occupying the sixth overall position, while the Tera registered 3,398, appearing in seventh place.

Closing the list of the five best-selling models on January 26, the Fiat Fastback registered 232 units sold.
