For the teams at the developer Sollarys, the activity of rescheduling the project timeline required a full day of work (8 hours) to complete — and, with the use of the software, this task is now done in just 30 minutes, 16 times faster than before. ‘Industry professionals who used the tool achieved an 18% gain in operational efficiency.

To this end, the specialized planning software Prevision uses the ‘Lean’ methodology (known as ‘lean construction’ in Portuguese), a planning technique that assists contractors and developers in defining necessary resources, deadlines, schedules, and project costs.

‘This allows us to better understand how activities will unfold over the scheduled time,’ explains Paula Lunardelli, executive director and founder of Prevision. The technology also facilitates communication on the construction site and the routine of employees, as it allows real-time visualization of project phases and the resources being used.

Construsummit 2024: Management and Technology in Construction
